Iktisyaf: Journal of Dakwah Studies considers the submission of a manuscript to be a serious commitment by the author. Authors are therefore expected to carefully consider their manuscript before submitting it to the journal.

Authors are generally not permitted to withdraw a submitted manuscript while it is undergoing the editorial or peer-review process without a valid and justifiable reason.

Manuscript withdrawal may result in a significant waste of valuable resources, including the time and effort invested by editors, reviewers, and the journal management in processing, reviewing, and preparing the manuscript for publication.

Withdrawal requests must be submitted formally to the editorial office and must include a clear explanation of the reason for withdrawal. The editorial team will evaluate the request before making a decision.

If an author withdraws a manuscript without a valid reason after the peer-review process has begun, the journal may consider the withdrawal to be an unethical practice.

Authors should also be aware that a manuscript must not be simultaneously submitted to or published by another journal. Duplicate submission or publication is considered unethical publishing practice.

Withdrawal of a manuscript after acceptance or publication is strongly discouraged. Once a manuscript has been formally accepted or published, withdrawal will only be considered in exceptional circumstances, such as serious ethical concerns, substantial errors, or other circumstances that may justify withdrawal.

In cases where a published article must be withdrawn, the journal reserves the right to take appropriate editorial action in accordance with accepted publication ethics and scholarly publishing standards.
