Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items. Submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration. If the manuscript has been submitted elsewhere, an explanation must be provided to the Editor.
- The submission file is in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx), RTF, or another editable document format accepted by the journal.
- Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
- The manuscript follows the journal's formatting requirements, including font, spacing, margins, tables, figures, and other formatting provisions stated in the Author Guidelines.
- The manuscript adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines .
- If the manuscript is submitted to a peer-reviewed section, the authors have followed the journal's requirements for ensuring a blind review.
Author Guidelines
- Article must be a scientific work based on empirical research or conceptual ideas. The manuscript must not have been previously published in another journal and must not be submitted simultaneously to another journal.
- Articles should generally be between 15–30 pages, excluding the title, abstract, keywords, and references.
- Articles should consist of the following sections: Title, Author Name(s), Affiliation(s), Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Method, Results and Discussion, Conclusion, and References.
- Title should be concise, informative, and relevant to the subject of the article.
- Author Name(s) should be written in full without academic degrees and accompanied by institutional affiliation and corresponding email address.
- Abstract should contain the background or research context, objectives, methods, main results or findings, conclusion, and contribution of the study. The abstract should be written in both English and Indonesian.
- Keywords should consist of relevant terms that represent the main topics of the article.
- Introduction should present the research background, relevant literature, research gap, novelty, research problem, scope, and the main argument of the article.
- Method should clearly explain the research approach and methods, research subjects or population and samples where applicable, data collection techniques, data validation, and data analysis techniques.
- Results should present the main findings of the research systematically. Data may be presented in the form of tables, figures, graphs, or descriptive narratives.
- Discussion should interpret and analyze the research findings by relating them to relevant theories, previous studies, and the research objectives.
- Conclusion should directly answer the research problems and summarize the main findings and their theoretical or practical significance.
- References must contain all sources cited in the manuscript and should be prepared consistently according to the journal's required citation style.
- Citation and reference formatting should follow the American Psychological Association (APA) style. Authors are encouraged to use reference management software such as Mendeley or Zotero .
- Arabic transliteration should follow an internationally recognized academic standard and be applied consistently throughout the manuscript where applicable.
- Plagiarism is strictly prohibited. Authors are responsible for ensuring that their manuscripts are original and properly acknowledge all sources used.
- Authors must ensure that the manuscript has not been submitted to or published by another journal at the same time.

Authors who publish with Iktisyaf: Journal of Dakwah Studies agree to the following terms:
- Authors retain copyright and grant the journal the right of first publication. The work is simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License , which permits others to share the work with appropriate acknowledgement of the authorship and initial publication in this journal.
- Authors may enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the journal's published version of the work, such as posting the article in an institutional repository or publishing it in a book, provided that the initial publication in Iktisyaf: Journal of Dakwah Studies is properly acknowledged.
